Maceda-Gascon Wedding (October 27, 2007)

I always love simple wedding. Simplicity still extrudes beauty. The Maceda-Gascon wedding is one of the weddings I can call simply beautiful. The wedding which took place in Chapel on the Hill in Batulao Batangas was very serene and solemn. I just love this Chapel. I love the fact that it is small, making it perfect for intimate wedding. Dessa, the bride who has been very exact on what she wants, just ensured that she will have perfect aisle, with the banig as her carpet. White calla lillies still look best as church decors.

There were just about 120 guests who attended the wedding but you know that it was a celebration spent with close family and friends. The reception followed at Sonya's Garden. It has always been a nice reception venue in Tagaytay. It's a real treat for those who went all the way to Tagaytay to attend the wedding. It's like a secret place where you can just relax and enjoy good and healthy food. Not very enticing though for those who are looking for plain meat! Sonya's did not need any decors at all. It's simplicity exemplifies the beauty of the place. It speaks for itself.

The table setting...

I just love the chandeliers...It's even better at night...

The wedding reception program pretty much ended early. But some guests even stayed for small talks and drinking. I just love the food! Ok, I could also be a gourmet person at times.

I love this wedding, I enjoyed it too...Thanks to Raffy and Dessa for the wedding books you gave! I'll be sharing some of the tips from the books on this blog. Congratulations and Best Wishes! Cheers to a happy married life!
